is located in the Scottish Borders on the A7 route. The town is approximately
40 miles from the Scotland's Capital City, Edinburgh and 60 miles from Carlisle.
The Bowling Club is situated very close to the Market Place being the centre of the town. From the Market Place it is a short walk along the High Street, passing the Monument of Mungo Park standing proud at the bottom of the Back Row. From Mungo Park, the Bowling Green can be seen with the Monument of Fletcher opposite.
